With energy prices and inflation soaring, thousands in Worthing this winter, through no fault of their own, will be simply unable to heat their homes or cook a meal.   

Government discounts, however welcome, are poorly targeted and will fall far short for many households.  Those on pre-payment meters face the highest tariffs and will be hardest hit.

The Worthing Powerbank is a joint initiative between Huskky Energy Ltd and the Worthing Food Foundation.  The Foundation’s role will be to identify and reach those in most critical energy need, with Huskky Energy providing technical expertise and promotional support.

By raising funds through personal and commercial donations, the Worthing Powerbank will be able to offer potentially life-saving support to some of the most vulnerable in our community, including the elderly and families with children. And as soon as that funding is in place, hopefully within the next few weeks, we will be able to start assisting those in most urgent need.  Please donate if you can and many thanks.
